Getting Heaven Into You
Our Mission
Welcome everyone from every part of Atlanta to practice getting heaven into us as we prepare for the Jubilee Jesus brings.
Our Story
He's come to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
In the Spring of 2023, we felt God moving us towards the people in South Atlanta. In light of a pandemic, fear, questions, and systemic problems, we knew that God loved these people and wanted them to see, hear, and feel that love of Jesus.
South Fulton and surrounding cities are full of amazing people thriving on one hand and longing for community on the other. The more we prayed, the more we felt called to surrender and join what God has been doing for years.
We know God wants the world to hear about Jesus, reorient their lives around Him to be made whole as families and cities are made new. This image of liberation comes from the Bible when it speaks about Jubilee. In Luke 4, as Jesus read from the scroll of Isaiah, He made known that He's come to give sight to the blind, liberty to the captives, give good news to the poor, and proclaim jubilee as the year of the Lord's favor.
